Jovani Ruff, the four-star shooting guard from Long Beach Poly (CA), is headed to the ACC.

The 6-foot-5 guard committed to Cal on Wednesday over Oregon, Kansas and USC. He’s ranked the No. 5 shooting guard in 2025, per 247Sports.com.

“The relationship I built with the coaching staff [led by Mark Madsen],” he said on On3.com in explaining why he chose the Bears. “We talk every day all and not just about basketball, we talk about life.”

Asked what he’s most excited about, he said, “Just getting there trying to win games and trying to help my team win. I’m very excited.”
