Villanova and Kyle Neptune have just made a huge splash in the transfer portal, securing Miami transfer guard Wooga Poplar. The 6-foot-5, 195-pound guard from Philadelphia is ranked the No. 17 overall transfer in this 2024 cycle per 247Sports.

The news was first reported by Jeff Neiburg of the Philadelphia Inquirer, and confirmed by sources to ZAGSBLOG.

Last season at Miami, Poplar averaged 13.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. He will be an instant impact player for Villanova.

Neptune has now landed Poplar, former La Salle guard Jhamir Brickus, former Fresno State center Enoch Boakye and former Penn guard Tyler Perkins out of the transfer portal.
