DePaul and new head coach Chris Holtmann picked up their first two commits in the class of 2025 Monday, including three-star Isaiah Medina and 6-foot-5 guard Kruz McClure.
The duo visited DePaul over the weekend, and ultimately commit to the Blue Demons one day later.
Medina, a 7-foot-1 center out of Florida, is a rim-running big man with a high upside frame. He’s one of the fastest risers this offseason and highly regarded on certain recruiting sites.
McClure, one of the spring’s top risers, currently sits right outside the top-150 prospects across the four major recruiting sites. He recently transferred to the DME Academy in Wisconsin, a program known for their development of players for the next level.
The pair mark an impressive recruiting stretch for Holtmann since his hiring in March. He added 11 transfers in the height of the offseason and retained commitments from 2024 three-stars Chris Riddle and Sekou Konneh.
DePaul will also host 2025 three-star forward Dezmon Briscoe on October 4 as Holtmann looks to continue his momentum on the trail.
