NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. — Class of 2025 three-star forward Dallas Washington has set some official visits to Long Beach State (Aug. 30-31) and Montana (Sept. 13-15), he told ZAGSBLOG. The 6-foot-8, 200-pound forward from Santa Margarita Catholic (CA) and the Arizona Unity Nike EYBL AAU program is also setting up UCSB and Washington State.

Washington has already taken an official visit to Montana, but it counted as a junior year visit. Montana now wants to get the forward on campus for a football game. Montana will play Morehead State at home during Washington’s visit.

The Montana visit was Washington’s first official.

“It was nice,” Washington said. “Love the coaching staff. Montana, definitely a different feel. But I love the campus, love the coaching staff and the team.”

Washington said his favorite part of the campus is the big “M” you can hike up to by the football field. He also said Montana is looking for a guy to come in and fight for a rotation spot in year one.

“They’re just looking for a player that’s going to come in and work hard, that’s going to compete,” Washington said. “And I fit the style of their program and all of that.”

The forward broke down some others schools involved at Peach Jam:

Georgetown: “I’ve only had one good talk with one of the coaches [Jeff Battle]. So they’ve kind of been talking to my dad more. So just trying to figure out the day for that and to get out there and meet the rest of the coaching staff and all of that. It’s a historic program. Good players have come out of there.”

Long Beach State: “I’ve been on the campus a couple times when I was younger. My dad grew up in Long Beach, so I’m familiar with the area. And I love the coaching staff.”

UCSB: “They like me, are trying to get me on campus. They want me to watch practice and see the campus and talk to the staff. I don’t know much right now, so just waiting to get on campus and talk to them and the coaching staff more.”

Washington State: “They just got a new staff. Their staff was really good at Eastern Washington too. So I’m just excited to get out there, see the campus, and talk to the rest of their staff as well.”

The head coaches of all of these programs were in to see Washington at Peach Jam. The forward’s best game of the tournament came vs. Nightrydas Elite, where he scored nine points and grabbed four rebounds in just 13 minutes.

“I’m just an all-around player,” Washington said of his game. “I’m really focused on playing a lot of defense and getting my game started on the defensive end. I can play inside, play in the post, get to the basket and shoot the ball.”

Washington isn’t the only athlete in the family. His father, Nelson Washington, was a walk-on basketball player at San Jose State. His mother, Heather Washington, played volleyball for the Spartans. Washington also has two sisters. One is at Fordham University majoring in dance and the other is a professional dancer for the Dance Theatre of Harlem.

Washington is ranked the No. 133 overall prospect in the 2025 class by 247Sports. His favorite NBA player is Kevin Durant.
