Nyk Lewis, the 6-foot-1, four-star point guard from Gonzaga College High School (Washington, D.C.) is headed to the Big East conference.

Ranked the No. 5 point guard in the 247Sports.com Composite, Lewis told ZAGSBLOG he’s committing to Xavier over Michigan, Seton Hall, LSU, Georgetown and Creighton.

“I will be taking my talents to Xavier University because of their prioritization of me and the impact I can make right away,” he said.

“I will bring playmaking, toughness and rebounding,” he added.

Said Gonzaga coach Steve Turner: “Nyk has an ability to understand the moment. He makes the guys around him better and can score it when you need him to. His underrated skill set is his ability to rebound the ball.”
