Class of 2025 sharpshooter Ryan Crotty has committed to Oklahoma State, per his Instagram page.
Crotty — the 6-foot-5, 180-pound wing from the Miller School (VA) and the Boo Williams Nike EYBL program — officially visited Oklahoma State last weekend. Now, he’s a Cowboy.
“I chose Oklahoma State because everything felt right on the visit,” Crotty said to On3. “The coaching staff believes in me, and I really like the campus and facilities. I really like the way coach [Steve] Lutz’ teams play, and I think I can fit their style of play really well. They have been straight up with me since they started recruiting me, and have built great relationships with me and my coaches.”
Crotty starred on the EYBL circuit with Boo Williams this summer and averaged 12.8 points during Peach Jam. He also shot 14-of-44 from 3-point range in five tournament games. Last season as a junior at Miller School, Crotty averaged 18.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 46% from deep on 312 attempts.
He is known as one of the best pure shooters in the 2025 class.
Crotty is a great start to the first high school recruiting class at Oklahoma State for Lutz, who was hired in early April. Oklahoma State is involved with some other class of 2025 prospects like Courtland Muldrew, Jayden Leverett, Kayden Edwards and Sebastian Williams-Adams. Both Edwards and Adams have visits set this fall.
