Nate Oats has made his first big splash in high school recruiting since taking Alabama to the Final Four. Top-100 prospect Amari Allen pledged to the Crimson Tide on Tuesday, marking the first commit of Alabama’s 2025 class.
Allen — the 6-foot-7, 180-pound forward from Ashwaubenon (WI) and the Power 5 Adidas 3SSB program — made the announcement on X.com.
“I love the culture and the relationship I have built with the coaching staff,” Allen said to On3. “They have the formula to get guys like me to the league and I trust them and think I can get there with them.” Allen officially visited campus the weekend of Aug. 31. Now, he’s a member of the Crimson Tide. Allen is ranked the No. 98 player in the 2025 class by 247Sports and the No. 2 player from the state of Wisconsin. Alabama is involved with several other class of 2025 prospects including Davion Hannah, Jaden Toombs, Darius Adams, AJ Dybantsa, London Jemison and Hudson Greer. All of those players have already officially visited or plan to be on campus this fall.
