  • Top-250 prospect Austin Williford commits to St. Joe’s

    Fresh off his official visit this past weekend, class of 2025 three-star small forward Austin Williford has committed to St. Joe’s.

    He made the announcement on his Instagram page.

    Williford — the 6-foot-5, 195-pound forward from St. Anne’s-Belfield School (VA) and the Team Takeover Nike EYBL AAU program — becomes the second commit for St. Joe’s. He joins three-star shooting guard Owen Verna.

    Over the summer, Williford played a key role for Team Takeover. He averaged 6.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 15.4 minutes per game. His stock really rose at DMV Hoops Live Session 2. There he averaged 22.0 points, 10.0 rebound and 3.8 assists per game.

    Williford is known as a do-it-all forward and is ranked the No. 246 overall prospect in the 2025 class by 247Sports.

    His father is Jason Williford, who is currently the associate head coach at Virginia.
