Zac Foster, the four-star combo guard from Atlanta (GA) Woodward Academy and the Atlanta Celtics, committed to Clemson on Thursday.
Ranked the No. 12 combo guard by 247Sports.com, Foster visited Clemson Sept. 5-7 and Virginia Tech the weekend before.
“I’m going to go to Clemson University,” he said during his 247Sports.com commitment,” he said during his 247 commitment.
“It was just the coaching staff. They were just heavily invested in me. Coach [Brad] Brownell told me step by step the plan for me when I get there and it just aligned with everything I wanted to do for college, so it was just the perfect fit for me.”
He added: “[Coach Brownell] said when I step on campus he’s going to get me bigger and stronger and all the things I need to develop. He said ‘You’re going to be in the gym with me,’ just all the things I need. The teammates were great, the atmosphere gave me that [home] vibe so I just said I’m going to come here.”
He added on 247: “I just decided yesterday and had to find the right fit for me.”
