Class of 2025 four-star power forward Brady Koehler is in the home stretch of his recruitment.
Koehler — the 6-foot-8, 180-pound forward from Cathedral (IN) and the Indy Heat Nike EYBL AAU program — has now taken all of his official visits with his trip to Virginia Tech canceled. He’s seen Iowa, Northwestern, Notre Dame and Wake Forest and is expected to decide in the coming weeks.
His most recent trip was Wake Forest this past weekend.
“They all believe that they can help me get to where I want to go with the success they have had in the past with players similar to me,” Koehler said of the visit to ZAGSBLOG.
The power forward recently broke down his trip to Notre Dame as well.
Koehler previously discussed all of his final options at Peach Jam:
Northwestern: “Coach [Chris] Lowery has been recruiting me for a year and a half now. So I’ve built a good relationship with him. And coach [Chris] Collins, same thing with him right there. They come out to my games.”
Iowa: “I like their coaching staff a lot. I haven’t really seen their campus yet or seen how they play. But coach [Sherman] Dillard and coach [Fran] McCaffery come out to a lot of games and show me love, so I like that. To be honest I don’t really know a lot, but that’s why I’m going up there.”
Notre Dame: “I mean I love Notre Dame. I’ve been up there like four or five times now and the coaching staff is great. The way they run their offense is really similar to my high school so that shouldn’t really be a hard transition if I decided to go there.”
On head coach Micah Shrewsberry: “I think really highly of him. He’s a great coach and he’s a great guy to be around. So I like him a lot.”
Wake Forest: “They’re one of the schools that offered me early just like Notre Dame. So I’ve been over there two or three times now. Same thing they run a really similar offense to my high school and it would be an easy transition. I just love the coaching staff there so.”
Koehler is ranked the No. 87 overall prospect in the 2025 class by 247Sports. He not only puts in work on the court, but off the court as well. He has a 3.9 GPA and wants to study business in college. Koehler told ZAGSBLOG he wants to decide in early October.
