Class of 2025 four-star shooting guard Mazi Mosley has committed to LSU, he announced on Monday.
Mosley — the 6-foot-5, 165-pound guard from Montverde (FL) and the West Coast Elite AAU program — chose LSU after taking his official visit a couple weekends ago. Mosley considered other programs like Iowa, Michigan and USC.
“Mazi Mosley is a knockdown shooter with the athleticism and basketball IQ to become a great defensive player in college,” legendary Montverde coach Kevin Boyle told ZAGSBLOG. “He is a great addition to LSU, bringing instant offense, length, and energy. Since getting to Montverde, Mazi has shown he is willing to be coached and work hard at becoming great at what he already does well.”
Mosley becomes LSU’s second commit in the 2025 class, joining four-star big man Matthew Gilhool. Last cycle, Matt McMahon had a top-15 recruiting class. He’s on the way to another great one in 2025.
“Mazi is a special young man,” said Ryan Silver, West Coast Elite’s program director. “Unbelievable talent who I believe will play in the NBA one day.”
A previous West Coast Elite product, Vyctorius Miller, is currently a freshman at LSU.
