Class of 2025 four-star guard Lino Mark has pledged to Rutgers, he announced on Instagram live.

Mark — the 6-foot-2, 170-pound guard from Notre Dame Sherman Oaks (CA) and the Oakland Soldiers AAU program — chose Rutgers over his other three finalists Seton Hall, West Virginia and USC. Mark took his official visit to Rutgers from Sept. 18-19. Now, he’s a Scarlett Knight.

“To me it felt like the best opportunity and fit,” he told ZAGSBLOG. “From the moment they recruited me they kept it real. The love and hospitality they tend to me is like no other.”

Rutgers and Steve Pikiell now have two commits in 2025: Mark and top-200 big man Gevonte Ware.

Mark is ranked the No. 123 overall prospect by 247Sports and the No. 13 player in the state of California. He attends Notre Dame Sherman Oaks in Los Angeles and will play there with 2026’s No. 1 prospect Tyran Stokes for his senior year.

Playing with Stokes and the Oakland Soliders at Peach Jam this summer, Mark averaged 5.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists while playing 17.1 minutes per contest. The two are after a state title at Notre Dame.
