Class of 2025 four-star small forward Dillan Shaw has committed to St. Mary’s, he announced live to 247Sports.
Shaw — the 6-foot-7, 190-pound small forward from Heritage Christian (CA) and the Compton Magic Adidas 3SSB AAU program — chose St. Mary’s over his other finalists Cal, LMU and Nevada.
Shaw is ranked the No. 87 overall prospect in the 2025 class by 247Sports. He’s the highest-ranked prospect to ever choose the Gaels via 247Sports’ database, which started ranking players in 2010. Shaw surpassed class of 2023 point guard Jordan Ross, who was ranked No. 94.
St. Mary’s had the WCC’s highest-ranked class on 247Sports for the 2024 class. This is a great start to the 2025 cycle for head coach Randy Bennett.
