Four-star class of 2025 jumbo guard Isaiah Sealy is staying home.
Sealy — the 6-foot-7, 195-pound guard from Springdale (AR) and the Team Thad Nike EYBL AAU program — committed to Arkansas over Ole Miss on Saturday. He made the announcement live to 247Sports.
“[John Calipari] showing me how I fit in with Arkansas and the playing style,” Sealy said of why he chose the Razorbacks. “Him and the coaching staff talking with my family definitely did a big part.”
This is now three commits for Arkansas in the 2025 class. Sealy joins five-star guards Darius Acuff and Meleek Thomas. Calipari has further strengthened his No. 18-ranked class.
Sealy previously described himself as a point guard. This summer, he was a key piece for Team Thad and averaged 10.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game at Peach Jam.
“I think I can use my playmaking ability a lot to get the other scorers on my team and myself open and buckets,” Sealy said of what he’ll bring to Arkansas. “I’m going to bring a lot of energy.”
Sealy has high hopes for his upcoming senior season at Springdale.
“I definitely want to go back to state,” Sealy said. “We went sophomore year and didn’t have a chance to finish that. But that’s the goal for sure: win state. And my role, I think I want to be more of a leader this year. I think I’m the only one that’s been here the past four years. So I just feel like I need to be more of a leader, be more of a point guard that I am and just lead the team.”
