Auburn has picked up a commitment from four-star power forward Sebastian Williams-Adams. He made the announcement live to 247Sports on Sunday.

Williams-Adams, the 6-foot-8, 230-pound forward from St. John’s (TX) and the JL3 Elite AAU program, chose Auburn over Oklahoma State, Purdue and Vanderbilt.

“Just the historical success at my position,” Williams-Adams said of his decision. “Coach Bruce Pearl has treated me as family from day one. He wanted me to be an Auburn Tiger. And just overall the nonstop love there and family that the Auburn community has as a whole really spoke to me.”

The forward had a productive summer with JL3. At Peach Jam, he averaged 14.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game to help his squad to the tournament semifinals.

“Very versatile forward,” Williams-Adams previously said of his game. “I can bring the ball up when our point guard is out, rebound, get out, push it, just kind of a do it all type of player.”

Williams-Adams is ranked the No. 40 overall prospect in the 2025 class by 247Sports and has a 7-foot-3 wingspan. His favorite NBA player is Kawhi Leonard and his favorite artist is Tyler the Creator. A hidden talent for Williams-Adams is that he can play the Clarinet.

“I had to quit because I couldn’t make any of the band concerts and stuff like that, but yeah I was really talented at that back in the day,” he said.
