Class of 2025 four-star guard Jerry Easter has committed to USC, he announced on Monday.

Easter — the 6-foot-3, 185-pound guard out of Link Academy and the Team Final Nike EYBL AAU program — chose USC over Ohio State, Oregon, SMU and Vanderbilt.

“We couldn’t be more excited to add a dynamic guard like Jerry to our USC program,” said USC coach Eric Musselman. “He is a proven winner that has shown great traits that we look for in our Trojan players. Our coaching staff cannot wait to coach Jerry here at USC.”

This is USC’s first commit in the 2025 class, and it’s a huge high school recruiting win for Musselman, who’s in his first season coaching the Trojans after five years at Arkansas.

As for Easter’s game, he’s one of the best scoring and playmaking guards in the 2025 class. At Peach Jam, he was the fourth leading scorer of the PIT, averaging 20.3 points per game. Easter is ranked the No. 35 overall player in the 2025 class via 247Sports.

“Jerry is an elite playing making lead guard that has proven to be one of the best guards in the country,” Link Academy head coach Chad Myers told ZAGSBLOG. “His size and athleticism for his position make him college ready from day 1. He has proven to be a high level scorer and decision maker. He will be able to guard all three perimeter spots right away.”
