UConn, Duke each place 3 on McDonald’s All-American Game rosters

Duke and UConn each placed three players on the McDonald’s All-American Game rosters.

The game will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Tuesday, April 1.

For UConn, New Jersey native Darius Adams, Eric Reibe and Braylon Mullins were named to the game among its 2025 recruiting class.

“It’s an awesome class,” UConn coach Dan Hurley told ZAGSBLOG last month. “We’re really going to be able to replenish a lot of that high-end, early-entry talent that we lost in the last couple of years.”

For Duke, Cam and Cayden Boozer, the twin sons of former NBA and Duke standout Carlos Boozer, will play in the celebrated game, along with Nikolas Khamenia.

“It’s a blessing,” Cayden Boozer told ESPN’s Malika Andrews on “Inside the NBA.” It’s something we dreamed about since we were little kids and just being able to be a part of this game is a blessing that I can’t explain.”

Said Carlos Boozer: “I’m so proud of them. They’ve been working their butts off, they made all of us so proud. …Just go enjoy yourself, enjoy the festivities, live in the moment.”

The future Arkansas backcourt of Darius Acuff and Meleek Thomas were also selected.

BYU signee AJ Dybantsa, the No. 1 player in the class and a potential future No. 1 NBA Draft pick, was also selected, as were new UNC commit Caleb Wilson and Kansas pledge Darryn Peterson.

Nate Ament, Brayden Burries, Koa Peat and Alijah Arenas are the undecided players selected to the game.

The top four projected picks in the 2026 NBA Draft, per ESPN, are Dybantsa, Boozer, Peterson and Ament.
