  • G League drops Up Next Game player pool

    The NBA G League announced the player pool for 2025 NBA G League Up Next Game on Sunday, Feb. 16, during NBA All-Star Weekend in San Francisco. The pool includes 28 total players that will be split into four teams of seven. This includes ten players selected by Fan Voting, which saw the Memphis Grizzlies/Hustle’s Yuki Kawamura receiving the highest votes. Recent NCAA supserstars, including former UConn big Adama Sanogo, UNC’s Armando Bacot and Nebraska’s Keisei Tominaga all got nods, as well.

    Final Fan Voting:

    1. Yuki Kawamura of the Memphis Hustle
    2. Justin Champagnie of the Capital City Go-Go
    3. Jahlil Okafor of the Indiana Mad Ants
    4. Adama Sanogo of the Windy City Bulls
    5. Skal Labissiere of the Stockton Kings
    6. Kevon Harris of the College Park Skyhawks
    7. Maozinha Pereira of the Memphis Hustle
    8. Trevelin Queen of the Osceola Magic
    9. Armando Bacot of the Memphis Hustle
    10. Keisei Tominaga of the Indiana Mad Ants
    The NBA G League selected 17 additional players based on their performance this season:

    Moses Brown of the Westchester Knicks

    Josh Christopher of the Sioux Falls Skyforce

    Jeff Dowtin Jr. of the Delaware Blue Coats

    PJ Hall of the Grand Rapids Gold

    Elijah Harkless of the Salt Lake City Stars

    Isaac Jones of the Stockton Kings

    A.J. Lawson of Raptors 905

    Isaiah Miller of the Austin Spurs

    Jaylen Nowell of the Capital City Go-Go

    Dink Pate of the Mexico City Capitanes

    Daeqwon Plowden of the College Park Skyhawks

    Quinten Post of the Santa Cruz Warriors

    Lester Quinones of the Birmingham Squadron

    DJ Steward of the Memphis Hustle

    TyTy Washington Jr. of the Valley Suns

    Jahmir Young of the Grand Rapids Gold.

    The two additional spots left to round out the player pool will be announced at a later date.
