There is a new No. 2 in the AP Top 25 Poll and it is none other than another SEC squad.

The Florida Gators have been ranked the second-best team in the country after a huge win over No. 1 Auburn in early February amidst a four-game winning streak.

This continues the trend of SEC dominance this season as the conference holds five of the top 10 spots in this latest AP Poll.

The top 5 is rounded out by Duke, Alabama (which lost to Auburn on Saturday), and Houston as the next three teams in that order.

The Big 12 Conference holds three of the top 10 spots with Houston, Texas A&M, Iowa State, and Texas Tech while St. John’s represents the BIG EAST as the No. 10 team, falling from No. 9 after splitting games with Villanova and Creighton.
