St. Bonaventure’s new general manager is using his time as one of basketball’s most legendary insiders to creatively help his program compete in the NIL landscape.
Adrian Wojnarowski announced on Monday that he would be auctioning off an assortment of items, including the phones he used to break some of the biggest stories in the NBA with the proceeds of the auctions going towards NIL funding for St. Bonaventure.
Woj’s vast list of contacts have been removed from the devices, but the phones still work.
“I want to show the fans, supporters and businesses in the St. Bonaventure community that we need everyone to be creative in ways to support our NIL. Everyone who cares about Bonnies basketball has to be on board in helping us build a championship roster-and that commitment begins with me,” Woj told ZAGSBLOG.
Phone biddings have reached as high as $525 and bidding on Woj’s credentials have reached as much as $250.

Woj is not just auctioning off phones and draft credentials, bidders can also win an opportunity to speak to Woj via a video call or dinner.
This is Woj’s first season serving as the first-ever general manager of his alma mater St. Bonaventure and he is hoping to make a big splash in the NIL landscape with this opportunity.
