Fresh off clinching an outright Big East Regular Season Championship, the St. John’s men’s basketball team and Head Coach Rick Pitino will appear on NBC’s popular late night talk show “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday.

The team will be in Studio 6B in Rockefeller Center to join Jimmy Fallon. Pitino, a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer, will also sit down with Fallon to talk Red Storm hoops in advance of St. John’s regular season finale at Marquette on Saturday. The show will air Thursday at 11:35 p.m. on NBC and will stream on Peacock the next day.

In addition to Pitino and the Red Storm, Thursday night’s show will feature Parker Posey, Alan Cumming, and musical guest Julia Michaels & Maren Morris.

Fallon, an Emmy and Grammy Award-winning comedian, has hosted the “Tonight Show” since 2014. The “Tonight Show” is the longest-running talk show on television and the #1 late-night program on digital. It’s taped in front of a live studio audience from Studio 6B at 30 Rockefeller Center in New York.

The St. John’s men’s basketball program is enjoying a historic season in 2024-25. The Johnnies earned their first outright regular season in 40 years, have won 15 of their last 16 games, recorded a program record 17 BIG EAST games and reached their highest position in the national polls since 1991.
