Arkansas’ star freshman has been cleared to resume basketball activities.

Boogie Fland is expected to be able to participate in the Big Dance.

Fland has been out since January after suffering an injury to the UCL on his right thumb in a game against Florida. He attempted to play through the injury for the next two games but then decided surgery was the best option moving forward.

The 6’2 freshman from the Bronx averaged 15 points and 5 assists this season while ranking eighth in the SEC in assist-to-turnover ratio.

Arkansas was eliminated by Ole Miss in the second round of the SEC tournament but is looking forward to having Fland back to make a big run in the brackets.
