Duke may be preparing for the departure of freshman phenom Cooper Flagg, but they will be immediately replacing him with yet another elite freshman in Cam Boozer, who has been named Gatorade National Boys Basketball Player of the Year.

This is Boozer’s second time winning the award, which is considered the top honor in high school sports. The Duke commit was presented the award by Kevin Love who payed him a surprise visit to his high school in Miami.

Superstars such as Jayson Tatum, Karl-Anthony Towns and Cooper Flagg have all been recipients of this award.
