Former top-10 recruit and Miami transfer guard Jalil Beathea is down to four schools, per multiple reports.

Bethea is one of the top available transfers per 247Sports, coming in at No. 17 on their rankings. He will be considering Alabama, Kansas State, NC State and a return to the Hurricanes.

Last season with Miami under Jim Larrañaga, Bethea averaged 7.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game while shooting 36.8% from the field. He was just a freshman and will have three years of eligibility remaining. Bethea is projected as a first-round pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.

The former McDonald’s All-American originally visited Alabama during his high school recruiting process. His high school top-five was Alabama, Kansas, Miami, Syracuse and Villanova.

Bethea is considering two programs with recent head coaching changes. Miami went with Jai Lucas to lead the program and NC State has gone with Will Wade. Kansas State is led by Jerome Tang and Alabama Nate Oats.
