Baylor has landed elite size and scoring ability through the transfer portal.

Michael Rataj, the 6-foot-9 forward transfer from Oregon State, committed to Baylor on Monday, per On3. He becomes Baylor’s first portal commitment this cycle.

Rataj averaged 16.9 points and 7.2 rebounds per game in his junior season with the Beavers, including a 1st-Team All-WCC selection.

Now, he will be headed to the Big 12 to play for the Bears, who won an NCAA Tournament game before being sent home by No. 1 Duke, which eventually made it to the Final Four.

The German forward doubled his scoring average from his sophomore to his junior season and is sure to make a big impact for Baylor. He is ranked the No. 19 overall transfer by 247Sports.
