Wake Forest is adding size and scoring ability to its frontcourt.
Valpo transfer Cooper Schwieger is heading to Wake Forest, as announced on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-10 forward averaged 16 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks per game in his sophomore season. He played both years of his collegiate career at Valpo but is now headed to the ACC.
While Wake Forest was in the top half of ACC play this year with a 13-7 conference record they failed to make the NCAA Tournament and have not made the tournament since 2017.
With the addition of Schwieger, Steve Forbes and his staff are looking to make a push to finally return to the Big Dance.
