FISHERS, IN — In a showdown between NBA sons, the Boozer twins emerged victorious as No. 1 Columbus outlasted No. 10 Dynamic Prep, 67-49, to claim the Chipotle Nationals crown on Saturday.

Columbus used a 10-0 run in the third quarter to take a commanding lead, and the Explorers never looked back. The Boozer twins combined for 38 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, with Cayden doing most of the leg work. The guard had a game-high 27 points on 9-of-14 shooting.

“It means the world,” Cayden said. “Last year we fell short in the semifinals to a really good Montverde team. We knew this year we had the team to win. Just the camaraderie of our team, the size, we just had a really good team. To be able to finish it with these guys, to finish high school with a national championship, it’s a blessing.”

With the Chipotle Nationals title, the Boozer twins have won at the highest level in both AAU and high school basketball. The two Blue Devil signees won Nike EYBL Peach Jam all three years of summer ball, won four-straight state titles in Florida and are now Chipotle champions. It’s the first national title in Columbus school history.

Specifically, Cameron Boozer may be the most decorated high school player of all-time. Along with his team success, Cameron has been awarded Gatorade Player of the Year back-to-back seasons. He was also the co-MVP of the McDonald’s All-American game earlier this month.

“I think it’s the cherry on top,” Columbus head coach Andrew Moran told ZAGSBLOG. “I don’t have a lot of words. We’ve won a lot of stuff. We won Peach Jam, we won state championships, the [Boozer twins] won gold medals. They changed my life, you know?”

Dynamic Prep emerged as the story of Chipotle Nationals, winning three straight games as the lowest overall seed in the tournament to reach the title game. Jermaine O’Neal’s squad beat No. 7 Montverde, No. 2 Link Academy and No. 6 Prolific Prep before falling on Saturday.

Pacing Dynamic Prep in the title game was Sam Houston signee Jacobe Coleman (15 points, 3 steals), SMU signee Jaden Toombs (14 points, 8 rebounds) and Rutgers signee Chris Nwuli (7 points, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks). Jermaine O’Neal Jr. was held to just three points.

The other NBA son in the game, 2026 five-star guard Jaxon Richardson, was impressive on the glass. He had a game-high 12 rebounds and scored his nine points mostly from second chance opportunities. Five-star 2026 forward Caleb Gaskins finished with eight points, five rebounds and three assists.
