A former Maryland commit will follow head coach Kevin Willard to Villanova.
Four-star prospect Chris Jeffrey will play for Villanova next season, he announced Sunday.
The Brooklyn native is the only member of Villanova’s 2025 recruiting class. He is a top-60 prospect in his class. He originally committed to Maryland in the fall but has seemingly chosen to follow the coach who recruited him to Villanova.
Villanova went 11-9 in the BIG EAST this season but has failed to make the NCAA Tournament in the last three seasons. Now, the Wildcats will play under a new head coach as they look to reinvent their program.
