The son of a basketball Hall of Famer is heading to Cal.

Michigan transfer Justin Pippen will play for Cal next season, he announced Tuesday.

The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 1.6 points, 0.7 rebounds and 0.6 assists on just 6.6 minutes per game in his freshman year. Pippen is a former four-star recruit out of high school and the son of NBA legend and Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen.

Cal went 6-14 in the ACC this season with a 14-19 record under head coach Mark Madsen.
