The college basketball season has officially come to a close which has many looking ahead to what fans will have to look forward to next season. Near the top of the list is BYU’s newest star, AJ Dybantsa, shining in the world’s most famous arena.
BYU is expected to be one of the four teams scheduled to play in the 2025 Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden in December, per Jon Rothstein.
Dybantsa has been the No. 1-ranked high school player in the country for a majority of the season but was recently dethroned by Kansas commit Darryn Peterson on Wednesday, according to 247Sports.
BYU turned many heads this season during their run to the Sweet 16, where they lost to a historic shooting performance by Alabama. Dybantsa, who was in attendance for that game at the Prudential Center, is hoping to turn even more heads come next season.
