Buzz Williams has secured another transfer portal acquisition.

Washington State transfer Isaiah Watts will play for Maryland next season, he announced Friday.

The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 11.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game in his sophomore season. Watts has played in Washington State for both of his first two college seasons.

He will be joining the Terps and their new head coach as they retool a roster that made a run to the Sweet 16, where they lost to the eventual champion Florida Gators.

Maryland has also signed Indiana transfer Myles Rice, who played with Watts in Washington State, Texas A&M transfers Pharrel Payne, Andre Mills and Solomon Washington, as well as Kansas transfer David Coit.
