    Buzz Williams has continued his busy transfer portal season.

    Virginia transfer Elijah Saunders has committed to Maryland, he announced on Saturday.

    The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 10.4 points and 5.0 rebounds per game in his junior year. Saunders played his first two seasons in college at San Diego State before transferring to Virginia,

    Maryland will be his third team in four years as he moves on to play for the Big Ten. This is Maryland’s seventh transfer portal acquisition after Williams took over the reins as the program’s new head coach once Kevin Willard moved on to Villanova.

    Maryland has also signed Washington State transfer Isaiah Watts and his former teammate Indiana transfer Myles Rice, who played with Watts in Washington State, Texas A&M transfers Pharrel PayneAndre Mills and Solomon Washington, as well as Kansas transfer David Coit.
