Baylor has officially announced the signing of High Point transfer forward Juslin Bodo Bodo.
The 7-footer from Cameroon helped High Point reach the NCAA Tournament this past season, and he’s been named Big South Defensive Player of the Year the past two seasons. Bodo Bodo has started 71 games over his two-year career with the Panthers.
“We are excited to add a player of Juslin’s caliber to our roster,” Baylor coach Scott Drew said. “Obviously, his size leaps off the page at you, but he knows how to use it to his advantage, leading the country in offensive rebounding percentage last year. He can impact the game in a variety of ways, and we are excited to add him to our roster.”
Last season with High Point, Bodo Bodo averaged 5.3 points and 8.4 rebounds per game while shooting 64.3% from the field. He’s also tallied 119 blocks in his career. He had 18 games in double-figure scoring and 11 games with three or more blocks.
Baylor’s transfer portal class this offseason includes Bodo Bodo, Caden Powell, JJ White, Michael Rataj and Obi Agbim.
