John Calipari has been active in the transfer portal on Tuesday, picking up two forwards for next season’s roster. Former South Carolina forward Nick Pringle and former Florida State forward Malique Ewin have committed to the Razorbacks, per multiple reports.
Starting with Pringle, the 6-foot-10, 220-pound forward averaged 9.5 points and 6.3 rebounds last season with the Gamecocks. Pringle started every game and shot 57.2% from the field. He began his career at Wofford in 2020-21 before transferring to Alabama for two seasons, and then South Carolina last year.
Arkansas will be Pringle’s third SEC program. He has one season of eligibility left to utilize with the Razorbacks. He signed on Tuesday, per Pete Nakos.
Ewin became the second Arkansas transfer of this cycle, committing just a couple hours after Pringle. The 6-foot-11, 230-pound forward averaged 14.2 points and 7.6 rebounds per game in 2024-25 while shooting 59.6% from the field.
The Florida State standout played his freshman season of college basketball at Ole Miss. He then went down to the JUCO level and played at South Plains College before transferring to the Seminoles.
Both of these prospects will help fill the void of losing Zvonimir Ivisic to Illinois.
