NEW YORK — Malcolm Bush wanted to be part of a special recruiting class and a special period in the history of Rutgers football.
The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Bush, a tight end out of Hackensack (N.J.) High School, ultimately reaffirmed his decision to play for Rutgers after an exit interview Sunday with head coach Greg Schiano.
Bush, the No. 31 tight end in the Class of 2009 according to Rivals, had initially committed to Rutgers last year, only to change his mind in order to reevaluate his options. After a weekend visit to Piscataway, he chose to go the same route, picking Rutgers over Pittsburgh, Syracuse and North Carolina.
