Matt BullockRutgers head coach Eddie Jordan on Wednesday offered a scholarship to Matt Bullock, a 6-foot-4 2016 wing from Roselle (N.J.) Catholic.

Bullock previously held offers from Monmouth, FDU, St. Peter’s and Fairfield.

“With two years left in his high school career, Matt has already achieved a TOC and back-to-back state championships, beating St. Anthony twice,” RC assistant Tommy Sacks told SNY.tv. “Matt has been the staple of the team for two years and the best is yet to come.

“He is a big-time two guard who can take the bigger guard off the dribble and post up the smaller ones. His strength, athleticism and unselfishness are his greatest assets. He shoots, passes, defends and rebounds. He’s a great person and the sky’s the limit for this kid.”

Said RC head coach Dave Boff: “Matt’s best basketball is ahead of him. He’s a great player right now and he’s working hard on his perimeter game. He’s going to be a tremendous player by the time he graduates.”
