Here’s your look-ahead to the weekend’s recruiting visits and other news:
**Isaiah Briscoe, a 6-foot-3 point guard from Roselle (N.J.) Catholic, will take his official visit to UConn beginning Friday and will then trip to Kentucky Sunday. He’s also set to visit Mizzou (Oct. 10) and St. John’s (Oct. 17).
**Chris Clarke, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Virginia Beach (VA) Cape Henry Collegiate School, trips to Virginia Tech. He’s also been to UConn and Creighton and will hit Tennessee later.
**Cheick Diallo, the 6-9 big man from Our Savior New American (N.Y.), takes an official visit to Iowa State following last weekend’s visit to Kansas. He will also visit St. John’s with Briscoe and Brandon Sampson Oct. 17. Both Briscoe and Diallo are among those targeting a late announcement.
**Sampson, a 6-foot-4, 175-pound shooting guard from Baton Rouge (LA) Madison, will visit Cal this weekend.
**Tanksley “Tank” Efianayi, a 6-foot-5, 205-pound shooting guard/small forward from Daytona State (FL), will visit Arizona State after hitting St. John’s last wekeend.
**Ernest Aflakpui, a 6-foot-9 power forward from Radnor (PA) Archbishop Carroll, takes an official Rhode Island before going to St. Louis Oct. 3-5. He’s already been to VCU, St. Joe’s and Temple.
**Markis McDuffie , the 6-5 face-up forward from St. Anthony, will trip to Wichita State this weekend after going to VCU last weekend. He also plans to visit SMU and BC in October.
**Shake Milton, a 6-4 shooting guard from Owasso, OK, visits Indiana this weekend. He’s also considering SMU and Oklahoma.
**P.J. Dozier, a 6-foot-7 2015 shooting guard out of Columbia (S.C.) Spring Valley, will trip to Michigan this weekend. He will also visit North Carolina (Oct. 3), Georgetown (Oct. 17), South Carolina (Oct. 24) and Louisville (Oct. 30).
**Jawun Evans, arguably the top point guard in the Class of 2015, begins his visit to Oklahoma State today (Thursday). He’s also visited Illinois and USC. Evans will reportedly announce his choice next week.
**Braxton Blackwell, a 6-8 2016 small forward from Nashville (TN) CPA, will visit Ohio State, his coach said on Twitter.
**Henry Ellenson, a 6-10 power forward from Rice Lake (WI), visits Marquette, the presumed favorite.
**Harvard hosts Aaron Falzon and Tommy McCarthy, according to Evan Daniels.
