JonesLouisville has dismissed senior guard Chris Jones from the team, the school announced Sunday.

The 5-foot-10 Jones was suspended for a violation of team rules and missed Wednesday’s loss to Syracuse. He was then reinstated on Thursday.

Without Jones, the Cardinals will need freshman Quentin Snider to step up and play a much bigger role heading into March Madness. Snider went for 13 points Wednesday in a loss to Syracuse in Jones’ absence.
