Villanova transfer Dylan Ennis has trimed his list to three schools — Baylor, Illinois and Oregon — and plans to decide by next week, his father confirmed to SNY.tv.
The 6-foot-2 Ennis cut Duke, Purdue, Tennessee, LSU and Georgia Tech from his list. Several of those schools recently added point guards.
Ennis visits Baylor today (Thursday), Illinois on Friday and Oregon on Saturday, Tony McIntyre confirmed.
“He’s been meeting with some of those coaches. We’re going to look to set up some visits and cut that list down,” McIntyre recently said. “And then really start to focus in on getting on campus, you know a a day at each school or something just so he can get a feel for it.”
Ennis averaged 9.9 points and 3.5 assists last season at Villanova.
“He’s looking for an opportunity to be in control of a team, come off some ball screens, be the primary ball-handler where he’s able to be that engine that drives,” his father said.
Jon Rothstein of CBSSports.com first reported Ennis’ visit schedule.
