Sophomore guard Terrence Samuel will transfer to Penn State from UConn and will have two years of eligibility after sitting out the 2015-16 season.
The 6-foot-4 Brooklyn native averaged 3.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists last season.
“Terrence is a winner, a fierce competitor and a tough guard who can play multiple positions,” Penn State coach Pat Chambers told SNY.tv. “He’s serious about earning his degree, has tremendous character and will have a positive impact on our program and our locker room.”
Samuel appeared in 65 games (eight starts) during his two seasons with UConn.
