    BOSTON –– The East Regional final will be an all-Big East affair.

    No. 3 Villanova did its part to prove the conference’s bona fides by dispatching No. 2 Duke 77-54 in a Sweet 16 matchup at TD Banknorth Garden that did not live up to its hype.

    The crowd was about evenly split between Duke fans and Villanova supporters, or at least those rooting against the Blue Devils (30-7).
