4_3526442Jalen Harris, a 6-foot-3, 175-pound point guard from Raleigh (N.C.) Word of God Christian Academy, has decommitted from Buffalo, he told SNY.tv on Tuesday.

Harris initially chose the Bulls over Providence, South Carolina, Louisiana Tech, UNCC and Wright State.

“When I took my official it felt like home,” he said last month when he committed. “Me and Jules [assistant coach Julius Hodge] are really close. I feel with Monte [Lamonte Bearden] we will be a tough backcourt to match up with.”

Now he will re-open his recruitment, but it appears that Buffalo is out of the mix.

The Bulls did sign a three-man class of 6-11 Brock Bertram, 6-7 Quate McKinzie and 6-4 James Jones.
