Richards visited Kentucky for Big Blue Madness on Oct. 14 along with fellow 2017 stars Quade Green, Trae Young, P.J. Washington and Kevin Knox. Kentucky coach John Calipari has made several trips to St. Patrick’s to see Richards in recent weeks. It’s the same school that produced former Kentucky players Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Dakari Johnson, as well as former Duke star and current NBA champion Kyrie Irving. Kidd-Gilchrist has also reached out to recruit Richards to Kentucky.MVPs pic.twitter.com/8cNj9igi8d

Richards is also considering Syracuse and Arizona but has yet to set up official visits. “Trying to take visits, I don’t know when,” he said. “I need more free time.” Asked if he’s close to committing to Kentucky, he said, “I don’t know, man. Whatever happens, happens.” Meantime, he indicated that UConn and Indiana are essentially out of the mix. “Basically,” he said. “Hopefully, I’ll be able to narrow down my schools soon.” Follow Adam Zagoria on Twitter And like ZAGS on FacebookNaz to Nick Richards! ⛹?
