Jamir Moultrie, the 6-1, 165-pound point guard from Bishop McNamara (MD) High School, committed to La Salle over Monmouth and Georgia on Friday.
Moultrie took an official visit to La Salle Sept. 1-3. He also visited Georgetown and Monmouth.
“It felt like home, no other way to put it,” he told ZAGSBLOG.
“They’ve been there since Day 1. They are making me a priority, always showing love.”
Led by Dr. John Giannini, La Salle was picked to finish ninth this year in the Atlantic-10, but figures to have a very deep, senior-laden team going forward.
Moultrie joins 6-8 power forward Miles Brookins of Mater Dei (CA) in La Salle’s 2017 class.
