Charles O’Bannon Jr., the 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Bishop Gorman (NV) High School, announced his commitment to USC on Friday.
O’Bannon, the son of former UCLA star Charles O’Bannon and the nephew of former Bruins star Ed O’Bannon, chose USC over UCLA, N.C. State, and Texas.
“When it came down to the coaching staff, the play style, and my college experience… it was a no-brainer for me,” said O’Bannon. He joins Jordan Usher and Victor Uyaelunmo as the third commit in USC’s 2017 class. “I fit in by being another threat on the wing and being a scoring threat with my slashing and shooting abilities,” O’Bannon said. With O’Bannon’s commitment, USC now has the #21 ranked recruiting class in 2017 according to 247Sports. Follow Jacob on TwitterLA… let's get it✌?️❤️?
