Hamidou Diallo will announce his college decision on Saturday in his hometown of Queens, N.Y.
The 6-foot-5 shooting guard is expected to choose between Kentucky, which begins its second semester Jan. 11, Arizona (Jan. 11) and UConn (Jan. 17). He will enroll for the second semester. He had also listed Indiana, Syracuse and Kansas on his original list of schools. Diallo took official visits to both Kentucky and UConn over the holidays, Tweeting that the Kentucky visit went “great.” He could decide to either enter the 2017 NBA Draft, as he has already graduated high school, or spend the full 2017-18 season playing collegiately. Multiple sources said they expect Diallo to remain on campus through at least the 2017-18 season.
