Markelle Fultz, the 6-foot-4 point guard from the University of Washington who is the projected No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft, met with the Celtics on Monday and Tuesday.
Fultz was set to undergo a physical, spend time with Boston’s top officials and work out with the team.
Fultz will only work out for the Celtics, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
The Celtics own the No. 1 pick in the June 22nd NBA Draft and are expected to take Fultz, who finished the season averaging 23.2 points 5.7 rebounds, and 5.9 assists.
Meantime, several high-profile prospects are set to work out Wednesday, with UCLA’s Lonzo Ball at the Lakers and N.C. State’s Dennis Smith Jr. at the Knicks. The Lakers pick at No. 2 and the Knicks at No. 8.
