Romeo Langford, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard from New Albany (IN) Senior High School, will take an official visit to UCLA this weekend, his father told ZAGSBLOG.
UCLA hosts Colorado in Pac-12 football action on Saturday.
Langford is working with a list of Kentucky, Louisville, Indiana, UCLA, Kansas, Vanderbilt, and North Carolina. He visited Vanderbilt last weekend and still has officials slated for North Carolina (Oct. 13) and Kansas (Oct. 29). Langford will also visit Indiana Oct. 21 unofficially.
He had a home visit Monday night with Kansas coach Bill Self, his father said. Indiana coach Archie Miller also reportedly watched Langford during an open gym Tuesday.
Given the latest scandal, this one involving the FBI, involving Louisville, it remains unclear where they figure into Langford’s recruitment.
“We’re still looking for the right school for our son,” Tim Langford said Tuesday.
According to 247Sports, Langford is the No. 5 overall player in the 2018 class, and the No. 1 ranked shooting guard.
