The Georgetown Hoyas have signed three student-athletes to National Letters of Intent in the 2018 recruiting class, head coach Patrick Ewing announced.
Grayson Carter, Josh LeBlanc, and Mac McClung all signed their letters of intent in the early signing period and will join the program as freshmen in the fall of 2018.
“My staff and I are pleased to add these talented young men to our roster,” said Ewing in a release. “I feel that all three can make an immediate impact to our program and I look forward to coaching them next season.”
Carter, a four-star recruit, is the 10th best center in the class according to ESPN.“Grayson [Carter] is a versatile frontcourt player with a high skill set; a good two-way player that will provide depth in the frontcourt,” Ewing said in a release.
LeBlanc, also a four-star recruit, is a consensus top-100 prospect and does a little bit of everything on the floor. “Josh [LeBlanc] is a very skilled, high energy player who can change the game defensively,” Ewing said in a release. “He has a great offensive skill set on the wing and a motor that never stops. He is my type of player – he has a nonstop work ethic, which I love in a player. I am counting on Josh to be an overall leader on our team.” McClung, a three-star recruit and the No. 9 best player in the state of Virginia, was initially committed to Rutgers, but reopened his recruitment and decided to play for the Hoyas. “Mac brings a different dynamic of athleticism to the floor,” Ewing said in a release. “He is electrifying out on transition, and he will be able to create for himself and others in the half court. I’m looking for him to provide leadership for our team from the point guard position.” Ewing’s first recruiting class at Georgetown is ranked No. 31 nationally and No. 3 in the Big East per 247Sports.
