After reportedly leaving the program on Tuesday, Seton Hall freshman guard Jordan Walker has returned to the team, head coach Kevin Willard told ZAGSBLOG.
Walker met with Willard Wednesday morning to discuss his situation. Walker quit the team in the wake of not playing in Saturday’s Garden State Hardwood Classic, a 71-65 loss to Rutgers, after he was cleared to play. Walker had been out with a thumb injury prior to that. Walker averaged 14 minutes per game while averaging 3.5 points and 2 assists and shooting 66.7 percent from the field.A Port Washington, N.Y. native, Walker led the Patrick School to a 21-4 record last year including a New Jersey Tournament of Champions title along with Kentucky big man Nick Richards. No. 23 Seton Hall hosts Wagner on Wednesday night at 7 pm.Jordan Walker is ‘back,’ Coach Kevin Willard tells me.
